How To Find Orginal Mobile

This is the English translation of the post "SAMSUNG ORIGINAL KOREAN" which I written in English for targeting for international readers. Due to its language, the readers from other countries couldn't understand what I have pointed out. So, I though to translate it in to English, then the message goes to the more readers.

 Only Few people know well what the Original Samsung Korean Version Smart phones are. But majority don't have a clear idea about those. Most of the people think the Korean version is a copy (Clone/Replica) of International Version. Some people called "Anycall" to Korean Version.

Lets we see what the Korean version mobiles are...,

First you should know that there are several versions of Original Samsung. Checking Model no. or base-band version you can identified Which version they into,

• Model no. of International version would be GT-iXXXX
• Model no. of Korean version would be  SHW-MXXX or SHV-EXXX
• Model no. of US/Canada version would be  SGH-iXXX
• Model no of Japanese version would be SC-XXX

Those all versions are original, but most of the people think that the only international version is original

In South Korea, there area three network providers. These three companies issue the mobile phones to the market. They are,

1. SK Telecom
2. Korean Telecom
3. LG U+ Corporation

SK Telecom company issues Anycall phones
Korean Telecom company issues Olleh phones
LG U+ company  issues  LG U+ phones

When Korean mobiles boot, you can see the logo of  Anycall, Olleh and LG U+
Those logos are shown in the pictures below

Most of the phones in back cover you can see the logo also. (ex. Samsung Galaxy S2). Otherwise you can identify checking the model no. or base band version that in which category to fall your phone. In model no. if the last letter is S, its a Anycall. If the last letter is K, it is Olleh. If the last letter is L, it is LG u+.

In Korean mobiles the model no. only be SHW or SHV.

Most Important:

• If the model no. is not start with SHW or SH, definitely that is not a ORIGINAL KOREAN VERSION. 

• ORIGINAL KOREAN VERSION  phone has a Ariel . If not, that is not a Original Korean version.

•  When it remove the battery, you can see a sticker in housing. Letter are in Korean language. If you don't know Korean you can't reading rather than numbers. Below there is picture of the sticker of Galaxy Note. Other thing is the symbol marked in RED circle is only in Korean version phones.If those two facts only valid for Original Korean version phones.

The Brand of "Samsung" started in Korea.The mother company is in Korea. They make the best mobile out of other versions of Samsung for there market. Korean version is issued only to the Korean market. They use the best hardware items for their phone.

Be Careful

There are lots of copies (Replica/clone) of Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 in the market as well. There are in very low price like 120-150 USD in Sri Lanka. I hope some times there are in your country as well. In the sticker in back it is printed as "Made by Samsung by Korea" or "Made by Samsung by Vietnam". But none of these never made in Korea. These cheap copies would made in China. You can search on YOU TUBE about these copies.
